Certate SW is a Certate saltwater-specific design model that has been honed in on its functionality with the assumption that it will be used in the natural environment of the sea.
It follows Daiwa’s unique cutting-edge technology that supports Certate’s basic performance, including Air Drive Design, the design concept of the next generation spinning reel, aluminum full metal monocoque body, and Mag Shield.

Inheriting that bloodline, we have pursued the essential performance as a model exclusively for salt water.
The first thing I looked for was rigidity and power. Targets include yellowtail fish, dolphin fish, and blackfin bass, which require the use of #2-#3 PE line.

Sometimes you are forced to fight with bigger fish than you can imagine.
In order to accommodate these requirements, the monocoque body has been made larger and the large-diameter drive gear stored within it has also been made thicker.
Additionally, the engine plates were made thicker to ensure complete safety.
